Yulia Bobrova's 2022 painting, "Play in Colors," offers a vivid and lively depiction of childhood play. At the center of the composition are two children sitting in a pool filled with colorful balls. One child, wearing a yellow sweater and blue shorts, is intently playing with a spinning top, while the other, in a blue dress, is curiously examining a ball. Surrounding the pool are various fruits and toys, adding a whimsical and dreamy touch to the composition. In the background, nestled in the grass, is a black and white cat observing the scene. Rendered in a realistic style, this painting creates an atmosphere of joy and carefreeness, evoking nostalgia for one's own childhood. Bobrova's art is noted for its ability to capture everyday moments with warmth and meticulous detail.
